Der Band publiziert die Ergebnisse der Tagungen des Jungen Forums Rechtsphilosophie 2020 und 2021. Die Beitrage der Tagung “Recht und Zeit” folgen der Intuition, dass die Zeit normativ relevant ist. Im Recht zeigt sich dies etwa daran, dass Straftaten und Anspruche verjahren oder mit der zeitigen und lebenslangen Freiheitsstrafe die strafrechtliche Schuld zeitlich quantifiziert wird. Die Beitrage untersuchen, wo und wie die Zeit im Recht eine Rolle spielt und ob es rechtliche Phanomene gibt, die sich erst durch ein angemessenes normatives Zeitverstandnis erklaren lassen. In jungerer Zeit lasst sich ein erstarktes Interesse am Recht und der Kritik des Rechts innerhalb der Kritischen Theorie verzeichnen (insb. Christoph Menke und Daniel Loick). Die unter dem Titel “Kritische Theorie(n) des Rechts” erscheinenden Beitrage setzen sich vor diesem Hintergrund mit rechtsphilosophischen Texten der Frankfurter Schule auseinander, die innerhalb dieser Tradition eine eher randstandige Rolle spielen und verhaltnismassig wenig rezipiert wurden. Zudem werden die rechtstheoretischen Perspektiven der Kritischen Theorie auf ihre Aktualitat und eigenen Ausschlusse hin befragt.
