Dans cet ouvrage, Kampotela Luc Bulundwe presente une etude detaillee de 2 Timothee. Il traite de memoire, de succession, de souffrance, de fidelite et trahison et du role de ces questions dans la construction de l’heritage paulinien.
Dans cet ouvrage, Kampotela Luc Bulundwe pose la question du role de 2 Timothee (2 Tm) au sein du corpus paulinien, au prisme des approches sociales de la memoire. Il demontre que le discours d’adieu epistolaire attribue a Paul s’inscrit, comme cle hermeneutique, dans un processus de diffusion de la litterature paulinienne. Cette etude heuristique se deploie en trois temps. Le premier pose des jalons historiques et methodologiques ; le deuxieme consiste en l’analyse detaillee de la lettre ; et un troisieme, en une enquete sur les personnages, les lieux geographiques et les points de contact de 2 Tm avec les proto-pauliniennes et Colossiens. Sa principale originalite reside dans la prise en compte specifique de 2 Tm, au-dela du corpus des Pastorales. Est ainsi mis en exergue le role strategique que joue cet ecrit dans la formation du Corpus Paulinum a une epoque de transition de gouvernance apostolique.
