Als zentrale und sich innerhalb der Henochtradition auszeichnende Aspekte des slHen analysiert er dabei die Rolle Henochs zwischen Engeln und Menschen, verbunden mit Henochs Aufstieg die Darstellung der himmlischen Welt, und die Verschrankung von Raum und Zeit durch das Strukturelement der Zahl 7. Um diese vor allem im kosmologischen Teil des Buches (slHen 1-38) begegnenden und am slavischen Text untersuchten Schwerpunkte nachprufen zu konnen, hat der Autor seiner Untersuchung im Anhang eine Zeilensynopse mit dem Text der kurzen und der langen Rezension des slHen beigegeben.
