Cet ouvrage rassemble une serie d’essais consacres a l’evangile de Marc, etudes qui ont prepare le commentaire de cet evangile publie par le meme auteur en 2004. Il s’agit de dix-neuf articles edites anterieurement dans des revues et des ouvrages collectifs divers. Les six premiers sont des etudes davantage centrees sur l’evangile en entier: sa datation, les thematiques de la loi, des disciples, de Pierre et des personnages secondaires. Les treize derniers sont classes en fonction de la tranche de texte etudiee en suivant simplement l’ordre d’apparition dans l’evangile, du prologue a sa finale surprenante. Les textes sont abordes a partir de diverses methodes d’analyse: historico-critique, semiotique et narrative.
