This collection of twenty-five articles on the Book of Ben Sira, or Ecclesiasticus, of which ten are in English and fifteen in French, is divided into twelve sections: General problems; Ben Sira and the Church Fathers; exegesis of the seven texts; additions to the second edition; three themes (Ben Sira and women, prayer, and wisdom and belief); intertextuality (Ben Sira and Genesis, Qohelet, Song of Solomon); and the state of the question today.
