English summary: This volume publishes and analyzes a corpus of documents on arbitration and conciliation, extrajudicial forms of conflict resolution that have become more popular in recent decades. This is one of the first works to offer linguistic analysis of this relatively new discursive genre. Spanish description: Con este libro seguimos la linea investigadora de hacer publicos corpus relacionados con las resoluciones de conflictos. Si tradicionalmente se ha recurrido a los tribunales como medio para solventar las disputas surgidas entre los ciudadanos, en las ultimas decadas se estan desarrollando y expandiendo distintas tecnicas extrajudiciales de resolver las desavenencias, como es el caso de las mediaciones, los arbitrajes y las conciliaciones; en esta ocasion, nos ocupamos de analizar y ofrecer corpus sobre estas dos ultimas tipologias citadas. Como son generos discursivos relativamente novedosos, hay pocos estudios que se decanten por examinar tales contextos comunicativos, si bien se ha de senalar que desde el campo legislativo si se encuentran diferentes investigaciones que reflexionan sobre el marco legal que se debe cumplir en la celebracion de arbitrajes y conciliaciones. Estos metodos pueden aplicarse en conflictos muy diferentes y en estos momentos son muy demandados en los ambitos laborales. Como linguistas, destacamos la relevancia de analizar estos complejos entramados comunicativos, de ahi que este libro recoja la transcripcion completa de cuatro arbitrajes y cinco conciliaciones.
