Une analyse comparée d’Esther TM et LXX
Regard sur deux récits d'une même histoire

Cette recherche se situe deliberement dans une perspective litteraire et synchronique. Elle se centre sur les textes recus (et canoniques) du TM et de la LXX qu’elle envisage selon la methode narrative. Les deux parties qui composent l’ouvrage sont elaborees selon le meme plan en trois chapitres. Le premier chapitre presente l’intrigue d’ensemble portant la totalite du recit ainsi que les micro-intrigues propres aux differents episodes. Le deuxieme est consacre a l’etude de la caracterisation des personnages. Plus synthetique, le troisieme s’appuie sur les deux premiers pour evoquer le monde du recit, en particulier sa theologie et son anthropologie. Concernant le TM, un faisceau d’elements degages au fil de l’analyse fonde la possibilite d’une lecture au deuxieme degre qui rend compte de l’insertion du livre dans le canon des ecritures juives et chretiennes. L’analyse de la caracterisation des personnages secondaires permet egalement de mettre en evidence leur importance dans le cadre d’une strategie narrative destinee a amener le lecteur a percevoir le role fondamental joue par la Providence dans le recit. L’analyse menee dans la deuxieme partie de l’ouvrage montre que le texte de la LXX possede une coherence interne qui lui est propre et qu’il merite pleinement d’etre pris en consideration en tant que recit a part entiere, repondant a un projet theologique bien specifique. Loin d’enfermer le lecteur dans un cadre legaliste, Esther LXX est un recit ouvert qui permet, lui aussi, plusieurs niveaux de lecture.
