This study provides an overview of the most important sources concerning the daily cult statue ritual, as well as a transliteration, new translation and interpretation mainly based on the Amun ritual of the Berlin papyrus p3055 (22nd Dynasty). Its aim is to show how through this ritual, a core element of Egyptian cult, the pharaoh daily assured the continuance of the world order, while at the same time replenishing his energy and ritually assuring his continued rule. English summary: This study comprises a compilation of the most significant sources of daily cult image ritual as well as a transcription, a new translation and an interpretation based predominantly on the Amun-ritual in the Berlin Papyrus p3055 (22nd dynasty). The main objective of this work is to demonstrate that this ritual constitutes a key element in the Egyptian cult, since through the daily practice of the cult the Pharaoh not only ensured the continuity of the world order, but also the regeneration of his own strength and the religious affirmation of his reign. In this way, the daily cult image ritual served not least to establish and sustain an institution such as the Egyptian kingdom. The study also takes into account reliefs that show individual scenes on the walls of the temple of Seti I. at Abydos, as well as the rules for their arrangement on the temple walls and their function as guarantor of the effectiveness of the rituals. German description: Die Arbeit beinhaltet eine Zusammenstellung der wichtigsten Quellen des Taglichen Kultbildrituals sowie eine Transkription, Neuubersetzung und Interpretation schwerpunktmassig basierend auf dem Amun-Ritual des Berliner Papyrus p3055 (22. Dynastie). Das Hauptanliegen der Arbeit ist es nachzuweisen, dass es sich bei diesem Ritual um ein Kernelement des agyptischen Kultes handelt, da der Pharao durch die tagliche Ausubung des Kultbildrituals nicht nur fur den Fortbestand der Weltordnung, sondern auch fur die Regeneration seiner eigenen Krafte und die sakrale Af? rmation seiner Herrschaft sorgte. Auf diese Weise diente das Tagliche Kultbildritual nicht zuletzt dazu, eine Institution wie das agyptische Konigtum zu begrunden und zu erhalten. Anhand der Szenen wird deutlich gemacht, wie im Zusammenspiel von Ritual und Mythos durch eine Kombination von Sprechakt, Handlung und Applikation von Objekten mythische Ereignisse der Wiederbelebung und Herrschaftsubertragung nachvollzogen werden und welche Rolle dabei der Pharao als leibhaftige Verkorperung des Gottes Horus bzw. der ihn vertretende Priester spielte. In die Untersuchung einbezogen sind die Reliefdarstellungen zu den einzelnen Szenen aus dem Tempel Sethos’ I. in Abydos, die Regeln fur deren Anordnung auf den Tempelwanden sowie ihre Funktion als Garanten der Wirksamkeit der Rituale.
