This study is based on the analysis of about 800 texts containing information on the Amorites-Sim al, Yamin, Sutu, Yamut-ba-al and Num a- and the Anaean tribes. The main focus is on a detailed summary of these tribes, including their organization, their settlements and places of work, their economic strategies and the interaction between nomads and settlers, as well as the relationship between the individual tribes and their contacts with the major powers of the ancient Middle Eastern world. German text.
