Dominique Barthelemy’s Critique textuelle de l’Ancien Testament is the most developed textual commentary on the Hebrew Bible in existence today. It also offers the history of ancient and modern exegesis of many difficult passages. This monumental work was realized between 1969 and 2015. It is both the result of a collective work, the Hebrew Old Testament Text Project, and of an individual author, Dominique Barthelemy, who passed away during the work. This volume traces the history of this great project and places it in the perspective of current research on the Hebrew Bible text.

This volume of Cahiers de la Revue biblique traces the history of this great project and places it in the perspective of current research on the Hebrew Bible text. Ce Cahier de la Revue biblique retrace l’histoire de ce grand projet et situe celui-ci dans la perspective des recherches actuelles sur le texte de la Bible hebraique.
