Petra Schmidtkunz widmet sich dem theologiegeschichtlichen Ort des “Moseliedes” (Dtn 32,1-43). Das Herzstuck der Analyse ist eine ausfuhrliche Motivkritik, die zeigt, dass das Lied grosse Teile des heutigen Alten Testaments bereits voraussetzt. Zu den uberlieferten Traditionen, die hier noch einmal neu formuliert werden, gehoren der deutero-jesajanische Monotheismus und der im Deuteronomium geforderte Gebotsgehorsam. Um diese einsichtig zu machen, stutzt sich das Lied jedoch u.a. auf weisheitliche Vorstellungen und Formulierungen. In Verbindung mit Beobachtungen zur Text-, Literar- und Redaktionsgeschichte, zur Textpragmatik sowie innerbiblischen Formparallelen ergibt sich eine Charakterisierung des Moseliedes als Ermahnung an eine nicht politisch, sondern rein theologisch gedachte Gemeinschaft von JHWH-Anhangerinnen und -anhangern, datierbar etwa in die mittlere Perserzeit (5. Jh. v. Chr.).
