Zion in den Psalmen

English summary: Zion is a fundamental topos for the theology of the Psalms, which, unlike Jerusalem, equally fills and shatters the dimensions of space and time. On the horizontal axis, it proves to be the center of a sacred topography, and it provides Israel and the world with a sense of direction and a home. On the vertical axis, it is able to erase the distance between the earthly and the heavenly presence of God. Corinna Korting analyzes the so-called Zion psalms as well as the references to Zion in the Psalter, some of which seem to be unspectacular. She comes to the conclusion that it is not a complete system with its Old Testament history of tradition which had such a decisive influence on the Psalms and the Psalter but rather Zion as an oscillating center of the progressive development of theology. Auf der horizontalen Achse erweist er sich als Zentrum einer sakralen Topographie, bietet Israel und der Welt Orientierung und Heimat. Auf der vertikalen Achse vermag dieser Topos die spannungsvolle Distanz von irdischer und himmlischer Gegenwart Gottes aufzuheben. Die temporale Achse zeugt von der Dauerhaftigkeit Zions. Verankert in mythischer Vorzeit besteht Zion in Ewigkeit. An diesen Eigenschaften Zions partizipieren der einzelne Beter, Volk und Konig. Einem magnetischen Kraftefeld gleich zieht Zion Motive und Traditionen an, um sie zu ordnen und auf diese Weise immer wieder neu und anders zu schaffen. Durch gezielte Positionierung des Topos Zion in den Texten werden Bezuge zwischen einzelnen Psalmen und Psalmengruppen hergestellt, auch uber Sammlungen hinaus. So werden in und mit Zion Texte und Theologien zusammengebracht. Corinna Korting analysiert die sogenannten Zionspsalmen sowie die wenig beachteten uber den Psalter verteilten einzelnen Erwahnungen von Zion. Sie kommt zu dem Ergebnis, dass kein geschlossenes System, das seine alttestamentliche Traditionsgeschichte hat, sondern Zion als oszillierendes Zentrum fortschreitender Theologiebildung Psalmen und Psalter pragt.
