Studies in Turkic Etymology” is a posthumous selection of articles in English and German written by the distinguished Hungarian scholar Arpad Berta (1951-2008), professor at the Department of Altaistics at the University of Szeged, Hungary. Most articles deal with Turkic loanwords in Hungarian and the Turkic origin of the old Hungarian tribal names.
