Perfektion und Perfektibilitat in den Literaturen des Alten Testaments
Ein Blick auf Konzepte und Gegenkonzepte in den alttestamentlichen Literaturen
edited by Jurgen van Oorschot and Andreas Wagner
In the 18th century perfectibility became a concept in philosophy and pedagogy and has been applied not alone to individuals but also on societies. Already in pre-modernist times perfection and perfectibility shaped thinking about human and God. With these questions and problems that arise with perfection and perfectibility thinking tradition- and religion-history, conceptions are in question. Also fundamental theological questions have to be answered new: the distinction between God and human, integrity and sin as well as the creaturely world and perfect hereafter. The volume explores a selection of these questions in various literature areas of the Old Testament.
