English summary: Body images are a central element in the imagery of the Psalms. Using Psalm 22 as an example, Dorte Bester explains the significance of individual body images and their function in the procedure of prayer. After a text-critical, compositional and a literary analysis of Psalm 22, in which the author also deals with the praying speaker as a subject of the Psalm, the author focuses on an interpretation of the Psalm in which the emphasis is placed on the statements which refer to the body. Further Old Testament texts, in particular from Job and the Psalter, are used to add an additional dimension to these body images. The author shows that those processes which determine the dynamics of lamentation and supplication, praise and gratitude are depicted on the body of the praying speaker. German description: Korperbilder sind ein in der Forschung lange Zeit vernachlassigter, jedoch zentraler Bestandteil der Bildsprache der Psalmen. Welche Bedeutung einzelne Korperbilder haben, wie ihre Funktion im Gebetsprozess zu bestimmen ist und in welchem Verhaltnis die Korperbilder zu anderen Bildkreisen stehen, untersucht Dorte Bester exemplarisch am Beispiel von Psalm 22. Nach einer textkritischen, kompositorischen und literarkritischen Analyse des 22. Psalms, die auch das betende Ich als Subjekt des Psalms reflektiert, wird eine Einzelauslegung vorgelegt, in der die zahlreichen korperbezogenen Aussagen des Psalms einen Schwerpunkt bilden. Weitere alttestamentliche Texte, vor allem aus dem Hiobbuch und dem Psalter, werden vergleichend herangezogen. Die Autorin weist nach, dass sich am Korper des betenden Ichs und in den verwendeten Korperbildern wie in einem Brennglas die Prozesse abbilden, die die Dynamik von Klage und Bitte, Lob und Dank bestimmen und das betende Ich von der Klage mein Herz ist wie Wachs (Ps 22,15) zu dem Wunsch fuhren Leben moge euer Herz fur immer (Ps 22,27). Mit einem thematisch fokussierten Forschungsuberblick und fur die Exegese fruchtbar gemachten Erkenntnissen der Sozialwissenschaften wird die exegetische Studie in die gegenwartige Forschungsdiskussion eingeordnet. Dorte Bester leistet somit einen Beitrag zur Psalmenforschung wie zur alttestamentlichen Anthropologie.
