English summary: Nearly 300 manuscripts from the fields of medicine and alchemy can be found among the 848 Codices Palatini germanici (Cod Pal. germ.), at present preserved at Heidelberg University Library and famous primarily for their often unique literary content. A large part of the codici recorded in this catalog belongs to these fields of research, and were collected not least due to the great interest shown by several members of the elector’s family and of the familes of the Palatinate aristocracy. In addition to theological texts they contain specialist literature on subjects including mining and coinage, alchemy, astrology, geomancy and prognostic studies as well as on warfare. The edited manuscripts date from the 14th to the 17th century with the largest part going back to the late 16th century. The catalogue entries are arranged according to the guidelines of the Handschriftenkatalogisierung der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (manuscript cataloging guidelines of the German Research Foundation) and in addition to a detailed description of the content they provide detailed codicological information and data on the provenance of each manuscript.
