In the many villages near Ramallah on the West Bank, a dialect untouched by modern influences has survived in the fairy tales and stories of the older population. Part three of the description of the rural dialect in the area surrounding Ramallah now complements Ulrich Seeger’s 2009 publication by providing a thorough grammatical analysis of the texts. The volume also contains a geographical and historical introduction to the region and a summary of the history of research on Central Palestinian issues. German text.
English summary: In the many villages near Ramallah on the West Bank, a dialect untouched by modern influences has survived in the fairy tales and stories of the older population.
