Yovhannes Drasxanakertc’i, Histoire d’Arménie
By (author) P. Boisson-Chenorhokian
English summary: Annotated French translation of history of Armenia written by Yovhannes Drasxanakertc’I during the tenth century. This is the sole source available for Armenian history between the seventh and tenth centuries, and offers a valuable resource for scholars of Armenian, Islamic, and Byzantine history, with important information on the Abbasid caliphate, Armenian independence, and relations with Byzantium.
