Das Buch enthalt also die Namen von Bergen, Flussen, Landschaften, Siedlungen, Volkern und Reichen. Im Rahmen des wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisstandes wurde auch die Lokalisierung der mitunter bis zu 3000 Jahre alten geographischen Namen vorgenommen.
