Ce(s) volume(s) presente(nt) des editions critiques et la traduction francaise de trois differentes traductions georgiennes de la Vie et conduite des Bienheureux Justes-nus et de Zosime. Vie de Zosime fait echo au mythe de l’Ile des Bienheureux connu dans l’Antiquite classique dont elle donne une adaptation chretienne. L’edition est accompagnee d’une introduction qui analyse la formation ainsi que la structure de ce texte et le rapport de dependance entre les versions orientales. L’etude basee sur la confrontation des versions grecque, georgienne, syriaque et armenienne rend claire la dependance des traductions georgiennes a leur modele grec. Le projet de l’edition et de l’etude de la tradition georgienne de la Vie de Zosime s’inscrit dans un projet Zosime-Rechabites mene au Centre des etudes orientales d’UCLouvain.
