English summary: The sole purpose of philosophy is to find the truth. Even sceptics philosophize in this way, since they can only say what appears true to them. Marcel Conche explores the implications of this, from the question of being to the notion of appearances. Refusing practical nihilism, Conche offers the idea that philosophy leads beyond itself to the wisdom of love.
