Le present volume rend compte des travaux de survey systematique de tous les ermitages des Qoucour Hegeila et Ereima et de fouille d’une douzaine d’entre eux retenus comme les plus riches d’informations nouvelles. Apres un chapitre de methodologie suivent une topographie generale des lieux et les resultats du survey systematique. Les douze ermitages explores par une fouille totale ou ciblee sur quelques pieces seulement sont presenntes successivement et sous tous leurs aspects etudies par de divers specialistes. Suivent plusieurs chapitres de synthese. Un catalogue systematique des nouvelles formes de ceramiques et du mobilier archeologique trouve sur l’ensemble des deux agglomerations est abondamment illustre de figures au trait et de planches photographiques en couleur. Le volume s’acheve par les outils de travail indispensables que sont l’index des inscriptions publiees et le catalogue des inscriptions relevees, le catalogue des peintures relevees, les bibliographies, les tables des figures, des planches et des plans en portefeuille.
