Intertextual interpretation, originally a tool of literary studies, has become more important in exegetical research in recent times. It analyzes the manifold references and relationships among Biblical texts and explores the new horizons of meaning that may be derived from their dialog. This volume starts with an overview of the history of research and an introduction of methodological considerations, after which selected psalms offer case studies of the complexity of intertextual relationships within the Hebrew Bible. German text.
