The study “Sunde und Suhne. Zur Deutung des Todes Jesu bei Paulus” examines the cultic perspective on the death of Jesus as a leading category within Paul’s interpretation of death. Is it reasonable and factually justified to speak of a central position of cultic atonement within Paul’s soteriology? Is the understanding of sin of cult and Paul identical?
