Baudelaire, die wichtigste Inaugurationsfigur der Moderne, hat an Bedeutung nicht verloren. Die konstitutiven Figuren der Machtaneignung und ihrer Durchkreuzung, verweisen auf Baudelaires Nähe zu Augustinus, die in den Verwerfungen des Ichs den Spielraum testen, über den das Subjekt im Verhältnis zur Macht verfügt.
