Dialekt oder Standardsprache? Bekenntnisfreiheit oder Bekenntnisbindung? Die Debatte um den angemessenen Stil ist beispielhaft fur viele Kontroversen im Bereich des Gottesdienstes. Einige entpuppen sich beim naheren Hinsehen als Scheinkontroversen, andere offenbaren grosse theologische, spirituelle und ekklesiologische Gegensatze. Der Band lasst Autorinnen und Autoren zu Wort kommen, die miteinander alte und neue Streitpunkte ausfechten. Jeweils eine legt ihren Standpunkt dar, der andere reagiert kontrovers, beide kommen anschliessend noch einmal zu Wort. Der Band zeigt, dass reformierte Liturgik vielleicht erst in Kontroversen fassbar wird, und regt zum Weiterdenken an.
