During his entire career, the reformed theologian Johann Heinrich August Ebrard (1818-1888) studied questions of liturgy. After a biographic overview, this volume presents a detailed analysis of Ebrard’s accomplishments in fundamental and material liturgy, while at the same time inquiring into their relevance for modern reformed liturgy.
