Research on common earthenware from the early 17th century is scarce. This study seeks to bring back to life the ceramics, inhabitants and site where the objects were used. The collection includes 1602 fragments from 277 common earthenware objects coming from the period of occupation of Fort La Tour (1631-1645) in Portland Point, New
