This study concerns the analysis of the pleasure provoked by literature in the Renaissance: essentially the perfection (accomplishment, completion of a story), stimulating variety or controlled variety, and the loss of control of the subject.
Il a récemment publié Lyric in the Renaissance: From Petrarch to Montaigne, ainsi que divers articles sur Ronsard, Montaigne, Pierre Boaistuau, Claude Chappuys.
