Warum braucht es mehr christliche Okumene im Bildungsbereich und welche didaktischen Konzepte sind dabei erfolgreich? Die Autorinnen und Autoren reflektieren kritisch Entwicklungen und Praxisbeispiele aus Deutschland und der Schweiz und fragen aus systematisch-theologischer, historischer, kirchlicher und religionspadagogischer Perspektive danach, was okumenisches Lernen heute bedeutet. Auf dieser Basis untersuchen sie das Potenzial eines genuin dialogischen, differenzsensiblen und identitatsbildenden Lernens fur die Weiterentwicklung der Okumene. Ziel ist es, das okumenische Lernen in Schule, Katechese, Erwachsenenbildung und Gemeindepadagogik anzuregen und zu fordern.
