edited by Jean Meyers
In 1994, Francois-Joseph Leroy published twenty-two previously unpublished sermons, which he attributed to a contemporary of Augustine, and in which he saw a non-apologetic, non-polemical collection of Donatist texts. This is a new critical edition of these 22 sermons, accompanied by the first annotated translation, and has brought together the contributions of various specialists, historians, and literary scholars, to analyze the language, style and homiletical devices, as well as the supposed Donatist scope, spirituality and theology.
