Besonders interessiert dabei, ob der zu beobachtende Wandel von Werten oder Symbolgehalten bewusst oder unbewusst vorgenommen wurde und ob dieser durch die Ausgangskultur oder durch die Zielkultur erfolgte. Die Beitrage bieten neue Forschungsperspektiven, indem sie die unterschiedlichen Methoden und Dimensionen – theoretisch, sozial, transnational, aber auch immateriell und materiell – miteinbeziehen und behandeln.
