Das Buch bietet einen umfassenden Uberblick uber die Flexion der Wortarten Verb, Substantiv, Adjektiv, Pronomen und Artikel. Die Konjugation des Verbs nach Numerus, Person, Tempus, Modus und Genus verbi (Aktiv und Passiv) wird ebenso erlautert wie die Unterschiede in der Formenbildung von starken und schwachen Verben, Modalverben und Hilfsverben. Die verschiedenen Deklinationsklassen des Substantivs werden in ubersichtlichen Paradigmentafeln dargestellt, die Bedingungen fur die schwache und die starke Deklination des Adjektivs werden leicht verstandlich erklart; zudem werden Paradigmentafeln fur alle Pronomenklassen (Personal-, Possessiv-, Demonstrativ-, Indefinit-, Interrogativ-, Relativpronomen) sowie fur die Artikel bereitgestellt. Zugleich werden unter Berucksichtigung der neuesten morphologischen Forschungsliteratur alternativ zu den traditionellen Flexionsparadigmen so genannte unterspezifizierte Paradigmen vorgestellt und diskutiert.
