English summary: Since 1999 the theologian Harald Schwillus has spoken up in 25 episodes of the series Feiertag (holiday) on Deutschlandradio Kultur (a German nationwide radio station with a focus on documentaries and news in the fields of culture and society). His ambition to practice theology in the public and cultural realm and to make it generally accessible is based on the demand of the Second Vatican Council that the Church should be open to dialogue and able to communicate the opportunities that faith has to offer. The repertoire of these programs is as diverse as the forms of faith that aim to provide some orientation in life. With topics such as ‘What Happened 50 Days After Easter’ the themes covered range from the interpretation of holidays throughout the liturgical year to religious practice (‘When Faith Gets You Moving. Pilgrimages and Religious Journeys’) and to the reception of antiquity in Christian theology, as shown in ‘Holy Odysseus: An Ancient Myth Seen From a Christian Perspective’.
