English summary: The concepts of emotionalization, moralization and radicalization are used to address phenomena in social and academic communication contexts that have made objective discourse difficult for many years (and increasingly so in the last ten years or so), promote divisions between (groups of) people and make pharisaism acceptable – including in church and theology. The ten contributions propose constructive approaches for explaining, differentiating and correcting ideological aberrations in general and in exemplary special issues. The volume provides evidence that ideological criticism is not only an enduring core task, but also a core competence of theological scholarship, especially when it (once again) dares to argue explicitly theologically. German description: Mit den Begriffen Emotionalisierung, Moralisierung und Radikalisierung werden Phanomene in gesellschaftlichen und wissenschaftlichen Kommunikationszusammenhangen thematisiert, die seit vielen Jahren (und deutlich verstarkt seit etwa zehn Jahren) sachliche Diskurse erschweren, Spaltungen zwischen Personen(-gruppen) befordern und Pharisaismus salonfahig machen auch in Kirche und Theologie. In den zehn Beitragen werden konstruktive Ansatze zur Erklarung, Differenzierung und Korrektur ideologischer Fehlentwicklungen im Allgemeinen und in exemplarischen Spezialfragen vorgeschlagen. Der Band liefert einen Beweis dafur, dass Ideologiekritik nicht nur eine bleibende Kernaufgabe, sondern immer noch auch eine Kernkompetenz theologischer Wissenschaft darstellt, insbesondere dann, wenn sie sich (wieder) traut, explizit theologisch zu argumentieren.
