Excavations were begun in 1915 by George Reisner and the site is now an archaeological mission of the University of Leuven. Starting with the magnificent tomb of the governor Djehoetihotep, this book recounts the history of excavations at Dayr al-Barsha, demonstrating their importance in today’s research at the site.
