English summary: The 10th volume of the catalogue series “Die handschriftliche Uberlieferung der Werke des Heiligen Augustinus”, edited by the Church Fathers Commission of the Austrian Academy of Sciences, lists the libraries and archives of East Germany as well as the re-united manuscripts of former West- and East-Berlin. Part 1 (Werkverzeichnis) contains the (pseudo-)Augustinian works and also provides – apart from Augustine’s sermons – a listing of those texts which are in the codices attributed to the Church Father, although it can be proved that they were written by other identified authors. Also included were translations of (pseudo-)Augustinian works into modern languages; part 2 (Bibliotheksverzeichnis) contains all the manuscripts (about 1100) ordered by location and signatures. Furthermore, it provides the descriptions of the codices that got lost during or after World War II. During the work on the catalogues six previously unknown Augustinian sermons were found at Erfurt University Library (Bibliotheca Amploniana), which caused a sensation in scientific circles. All in all, most of the texts turned out to be spuria of the high and late middle-ages. They were – as far as possible identified, thereby providing a better overview of the reception of the church father’s oevure, not only for editors of Augustine, but also for a wider range of users such as medievists, historians and theologists. Two indices (one of authors, the other listed by (initials) give quick access to the information required German description: Als 10. Band der von der Kirchenvaterkommission der Osterreichischen Akademie der Wissenschaften edierten Reihe “Die handschriftliche Uberlieferung der Werke des Heiligen Augustinus” liegt nun der Katalog der Bibliotheken und Archive Ostdeutschlands und der nunmehr vereinigten Berliner Bestande vor. Das Werkverzeichnis (Teil 1) umfasst nicht nur die augustinischen und pseudo-augustinischen Werke, sondern gliedert neben den Sermones auch die dem Kirchenvater zugeschriebenen Texte anderer identifizierbarer Autoren einzeln auf. Einbezogen wurden ausserdem volkssprachliche Ubersetzungen (pseudo-) augustinischer Werke; das Bibliotheksverzeichnis (Teil 2) stellt alle Handschriften (etwa 1100) nach Standorten und Signaturen geordnet zusammen, wobei auch (Kriegs-)Verluste berucksichtigt wurden. Im Zuge der Katalogisierungsarbeit kam es zum Aufsehen erregenden Fund von sechs bis dato unbekannten echten Augustinus-Predigten in einem Codex der Erfurter Universitatsbibliothek (Bibliotheca Amploniana). Insgesamt uberwiegen zahlreiche hoch- und spatmittelalterliche Spuria, die, soweit dies moglich war, identifiziert wurden, sodass nicht nur Augustinus-Editoren, sondern auch ein breiterer Benutzerkreis – vor allem Mediavisten, Historiker und Theologen – leichteren Zugang zur Augustinus-Rezeption finden. Ein rasches Auffinden der gewunschten Information wird durch ein Autoren- und Initienverzeichnis gewahrleistet.
