Kaufman und Philip Clayton in den Blick und fragt nach ihrer Tragfähigkeit für die Auflösung des historisch gewachsenen Spannungsverhältnisses. Dabei erfolgt ebenfalls eine exkurshafte Auseinandersetzung mit der Theologie Arthur Peacockes und der Prozessphilosophie Alfred North Whiteheads.
