English summary: This is the first attempt ever made to give an account of the life of Jesus based on the Johannine sources. A complete and correct reconstruction of the signs-source, followed by the passion narrative, yields a very plausible series of events covering one year from spring, 29 A.C to the 14th of Nisan (April 7th) 30 A.C. German text. German description: Dieser Band bietet den Ablauf des offentlichen Lebens Jesu, so wie er sich aus den Erinnerungen ergibt, die in den altesten christlichen Texten enthalten sind. Grundlage sind die vier kanonischen Evangelien, jedoch zuruckgebaut auf ihre – separat nicht mehr erhaltenen – Quellenstucke und neu aufgereiht anhand der internen Chronologie der Johannes-Quellen. Diese letzteren sind in ihrem historischen Wert bisher noch nicht erkannt worden. Was sich ergibt ist eine historische Biographie in dem Sinne, dass die Quellen genauestens nachgewiesen sind und dass sie benutzt werden unter Wahrnehmung aller Merkmale des Ortes und der Zeit. In ihrer Wiedergabe wird terminologisch getrennt zwischen Vorstellung und Ereignis einerseits sowie zwischen Ereignis und Wiedergabe andrerseits. In den letzten Jahrzehnten hat die Auswertung der hinter den grossen Synoptikern stehenden Logienquelle Q wertvolle Korrekturen des kirchlichen Jesus-Bildes erbracht. Dieser third quest of the historical Jesus (nach fruheren Ansatzen an Q und an Markus) wird hier vorausgesetzt; seine Ergebnisse liegen vor und sind weitgehend rezipiert.
