English summary: A boastful ideological purism in the name of identity, anti-discrimination, wokeness, cancel culture, anti-racism, and gender justice deconstructs the intellectual foundations of European culture and science. It may rupture the framework that holds together a democratic society attuned to discursive agreements and mutual understanding, evidence and compromise. If nominalist separatism goes unchecked, there looms the inevitable threat of the loss of reality and the disruption of judgment. This planned volume of essays seeks to analyze in an appropriate manner the progressive disintegration and the spreading cultural self-denial of Europe, and to point out perspectives of a correction – in a number of contributions specifically from a Christian point of view. The aim is to make heard the unknown voice of the real (Rene Girard).
