Arme, Erniedrigte und Beschamte in Text und Kontext

This edited volume is dedicated to the multifaceted themes of poverty, humiliation, and insult from hermeneutical, practical-theological, and biblical perspectives. The aim is to explore the complexity of the topic, acknowledging its inherent irresolvability and incompleteness, and to incorporate it into current discourses. The international contributions enrich the theological and interdisciplinary discourse by analyzing poverty, humiliation, and insult beyond economic and sociological approaches, as multifaceted theological and social problems. The volume stimulates discussion within these disciplines and aims to enrich debates within church and diaconia, and overall societal debates.
