Dazu gehoren neue Erkenntnisse zu den Wechselbeziehungen von Judentum und Christentum in den ersten nachchristlichen Jahrhunderten ebenso wie die Fortschritte im christlich-judischen Dialog. Die im II. Vaticanum begrundete Neuorientierung der Beziehung zum Judentum, die zu einem neuen Verstandnis des Alten Testaments in der katholischen Theologie gefuhrt hat, findet besondere Berucksichtigung.
