Der “Austrofaschismus” – eine immer noch kontrovers diskutierte Ära

Der Sammelband vereint eine Reihe aktueller Arbeiten renommierter Autor*innen und versteht sich als Beitrag zu einer umfassenden gesellschaftlichen und politischen Analyse von Austrofaschismus und Februarkampfen 1934. Die Ara der austrofaschistischen Diktatur ist immer noch ein kontrovers diskutiertes Stuck Geschichte. In dieser Publikation wird ein kritischer Blick auf diese Ara geworfen – unabhangig von den Parteiinteressen, die bis heute das Geschichtsbild dieser Zeit pragen. Der Sammelband prasentiert eine breite Palette verschiedener Forschungsarbeiten zum Thema. Neunzehn Autor*innen aus verschiedenen Fachrichtungen – von den Pionier*innen der Austrofaschismusforschung bis hin zu teilweise bereits preisgekronten jungen Forscher*innen – eroffnen neben historischen und politikwissenschaftlichen Blickwinkeln auch juristische und kulturelle. Regionale Ereignisse und Rahmenbedingungen werden ebenso berucksichtigt wie internationale bzw. bisher kaum behandelte Aspekte.
