This volume, which is groundbreaking in many respects, first makes clear how the Torah, the proclamation of Jesus, and the First Epistle of Peter continue to resonate in the present day. Second, based on fundamental Jewish, Catholic, and Protestant understandings, it provides a new ethical foundation for the social economy in a post-secular society, including in Israel.
