Il volume presenta l’analisi letteraria e l’analisi retorica della Lettera agli Efesini. La grammatica e la sintassi della Lettera non si discostano molto dallo stile delle lettere paoline, mentre il contenuto e basato su una teologia trinitaria, con al centro la cristologia, e su una parentesi epidittica, che cerca di mostrare la coerenza tra il vivere quotidiano e la professione della propria fede.Come esito della ricerca emerge che “pur nella diversita dovuta a circostanze diverse, la Lettera mostra non solo un’affinita con il pensiero paolino, ma che in essa si puo leggere il pensiero autentico dell’apostolo”. Si puo notare come il cuore di Paolo vibri nell’esortare a “vivere in maniera degna della vocazione a cui si e chiamati”, espressione che trova il suo fondamento nella propositio: “per grazia infatti siete stati salvati”.
