English summary: This volume continues the edition of documents through which church and society were restructured in the sixteenth century. After two volumes containing the church ordinances of the territories and imperial cities in what is now Hesse were published in 1965 and then in 2011, this volume completes the region of Hesse. This volume contains the church ordinances of the counties of Nassau, Hanau-Munzenberg, and Ysenburg. In these three territories, a reformation modeled after Wittenberg established itself until the Interim, but in the second half of the sixteenth century the territorial lords began the transition to a Reformed confession centering on Calvin’s theology. The church ordinances of these three counties shed light on ecclesiastical structures in sixteenth century Reformed territories. Jahrhundert.
