The interdisciplinary book positions itself at the intersection where health-related and subject-didactic perspectives enter into dialogue. The interdisciplinary approach is not an end in itself but reflects the complexity of health-related issues in the field of education. It opens up well-founded perspectives for healthy teaching and learning of foreign languages. After all, healthy foreign language teaching starts with the health of the teachers – only those who are mentally and emotionally strong can be effective linguistically and pedagogically.
