Die aktuelle Krise der katholischen Kirche ist erkennbar eine Fuhrungskrise. Und diese ist im Kern eine Krise der Entscheidungspraxis. Schon wie faktisch in Kirche wer uber was entscheidet, ist theologisch umstritten. Erst recht aber steht diese Praxis gesellschaftlich unter enormem Legitimierungsdruck. Hinzu kommt, dass fur die kirchlich Verantwortlichen Reformen epochalen Ausmaaes anstehen. Reformen aber sind Entscheidungen. Insofern darf der Bereich kirchlicher Entscheidungspraxis nicht gelahmt sein. Vor diesem Hintergrund versammelt der Band Beitrage zur Fuhrungsforschung aus samtlichen theologischen Disziplinen und systematisiert sie zu einer Kriteriologie kirchlicher Entscheidungspraxis. Auf diese Weise befahigt er dazu, die derzeitige Blockade zu uberwinden, und liefert damit einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Synodalen Weg der deutschen Kirche.
