Theatre complet. Tome I
by Philippe Nericault Destouches and edited by Marie-Emmanuelle Plagnol-Dieval, Catherine Ramond, Christelle Bahier-Porte, John Dunkley, Ioana Galleron, Judith le Blanc and Francoise Rubellin
Destouches wrote with great success for the Comedie-Francaise between 1715 and 1750, and was constantly quoted, published, and translated up to the end of the nineteenth century. The publication of his Theatre completed by an international team of specialists allows us to reread an author who is central to the aesthetic and moral debates of his century.
