Miti, divinita ed eroi nel Mediterraneo antico
by Jose Maria Blazquez
This volume has gathered previously published works, all linked by a common denominator: the various aspects of religious antiquity. The first chapters analyze some Greek myths that over the centuries remained bound to the West. A chapter studies some funeral rites witnessed in the whole Mediterranean basin. Chapters IV, V and VI refer to the religiosity of the pre-Roman peoples of the Iberian Peninsula, grouped by historical stages. Particular attention is paid to the impact of Semitic religion on the formation of indigenous religiosity of pre-Roman peoples. The different contributions had appeared on several national and international magazines, which sometimes made it difficult to reference them. This single volume facilitates the study of the subject, which is always in constant expansion. Italian text.
English summary: This volume has gathered previously published works, all linked by a common denominator: the various aspects of religious antiquity. This single volume facilitates the study of the subject, which is always in constant expansion.
